Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Iraq Rentals' services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using our services.

2. Eligibility

To use our services, you must:

• Be at least 21 years of age
• Possess a valid driver's license for at least 1 year
• Have a valid form of payment
• Agree to our terms and conditions

3. Account Registration

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information during registration and keep it updated.

4. Booking and Rental Terms

For Renters:

• You must inspect the vehicle before accepting it
• Report any existing damage immediately
• Return the vehicle on time and in the same condition
• Do not exceed mileage limits without authorization
• Do not smoke in vehicles or transport prohibited items
• You are responsible for traffic violations during your rental

For Car Owners:

• Ensure vehicles are properly maintained and insured
• Provide accurate vehicle descriptions and photos
• Honor confirmed bookings
• Respond to inquiries within 24 hours

5. Payments and Fees

All payments are processed securely through our platform. Renters agree to pay the full rental amount plus any applicable fees, including:

• Daily rental rate
• Insurance fees (if selected)
• Extra mileage charges
• Late return fees
• Cleaning fees (if applicable)
• Damage repair costs (if applicable)

6. Cancellation Policy

• Free cancellation up to 48 hours before pickup
• 50% refund for cancellations 24-48 hours before pickup
• No refund for cancellations less than 24 hours before pickup
• Owner cancellations may result in penalties

7. Insurance and Liability

Basic insurance is included with all rentals. Additional coverage options are available. Renters are responsible for damages not covered by insurance, including deductible amounts.

8. Prohibited Uses

Vehicles may not be used for:

• Illegal activities
• Racing or reckless driving
• Transporting hazardous materials
• Commercial purposes without authorization
• Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs
• Crossing international borders without permission

9. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these terms shall first be addressed through our customer support. If unresolved, disputes will be settled through arbitration in accordance with Iraqi law.

10. Limitation of Liability

Iraq Rentals acts as a platform connecting renters and car owners. We are not liable for actions of users, vehicle conditions, or incidents during rentals beyond our stated insurance coverage.

11. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
